Have you just joined AVMHA this season? If so, welcome! We are looking forward to meeting you and your family. The AVMHA board is hosting “Welcome Open Houses”. Tuesday, August 27th at 5:30pm at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. We are also hosting one on Thursday, September 5th at 5:30pm as we know end of summer and start of school is busy times:)

MEET & GREET:

This is a great opportunity for you to come and meet other families who are beginning their hockey journey! As well as some volunteers who you will see around the arena throughout the season.

PREPARING FOR HOCKEY SEASON:

It’s almost hockey time! Join us to learn more about what to expect, what you need, and how to prepare for the best hockey experience for both your player and you. Topics will cover everything from equipment, ice allocation, team structure, player development to tournaments, communication and helpful tips.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
What do I need? How does it all work? What should I expect? How do I best support my child in hockey? Where are the dressing rooms? How do I tie laces? Bring your questions and we will do our best to answer them for you!
