Our Mission

The purpose of the Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association (AVMHA) is to organize, develop, and promote minor hockey for the youth of the Alberni Valley. We strive to provide quality leadership at all levels, and to develop the understanding of teamwork and sportsmanship in an atmosphere of fun and positive reinforcement for all players and volunteers.

Recreation & Competitive Teams

AVMHA players have several options available to them when deciding the direction of their future in hockey.  Each year teams from the Alberni Valley play in both competitive and recreational island leagues starting at Atom.  The younger children in Initiation also enjoy tournaments on the island.
